Your mission
As an AWS Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and efficiency of our Cloud Infrastructure. With our expanding operations in the AWS Cloud, we seek someone who will not only manage existing security protocols but proactively develop and implement new strategies to enhance our Cloud Security posture. Main responsibilities of this position include:
- Deployment & Optimization of Cloud-Native Applications in the AWS Cloud
- Ensuring they meet security standards and performance requirements within the AWS environment
- Building Cloud Center of Excellence
- Using best practices, standards, and governance in Cloud security across the organization's AWS infrastructure
- Automation of Management and Governance at Scale on AWS
- Leveraging tools and scripts to ensure consistent security measures are applied across all resources
- Development and Implementation of Infrastructure as Code
- To manage and deploy AWS infrastructure, ensuring security controls are embedded within code repositories and deployment pipelines
- Execution of Security & Penetration Tests
- To identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions
- Deploying, Automating, and Managing AWS Cloud-Based Systems
- According to the AWS Well-Architected Framework, focusing on security best practices and scalability
- Analysis & Optimization of Existing AWS Workloads
- To identify security gaps and performance bottlenecks, then implement optimizations to enhance both security and efficiency
